well wed have to see if that hub can take a threaded axle, coz its not a cup and cone its a sealed bearing so im not sure if it needs something specific???? mmmmm

for pinkbike and rip tv it is almost essential to do it in .mov (quicktime) when i used to use mpeg..all the footage that went with the song would be way off by about 3 seconds. with quicktime it's off by like .3 of a second.. quicktime is also way better quality. Hope that answers your questions... -ericp.

umm..i've never tried using the firewire....we've just only used the usb connection

um it's pretty good.. you don't need a firewire though because it's not on tapes..it's hard drive (hdd) it's a sweet camera though..just doesn't have alot of manual settings...like you can choose the exact like shutter speed for example..you have to choose like slow or fast..you don't get a choise in numbers... how do you like the quality of your hd7 ???
